These terms apply to any contract between us for the sale of products to you. Please read these terms carefully and make sure that you understand them, before ordering any products from our site. Please note that by ordering any of our products, you agree to be bound by these terms and the other documents expressly referred to in it or please note that before placing an order you will be asked to agree to these terms. Therefore we advise you should not proceed to any purchase(s) or use of the site until fully reading the terms and conditions.

Standard terms and conditions

"terms and conditions" means a special document made by the seller you read that you agree to be legally bound before you purchase or  any goods from emporium home interiors.

"you" or the "buyer" and "customer" means the person who buys or agrees to buy from emporium home interiors.

"seller" or "we" and "us" means and emporium home interiors (century interiors limited)

"goods" or "items" and "products" means the products you agree to buy from us or those specified.

"price " means price of the product quoted in British sterling exclusive of VAT.

"working day" means any day except for Saturday, Sunday and all bank and public holidays.

"delivery date" means the date specified by the seller when the products are to be delivered.

Shopping with Emporium home interiors

There are two ways of ordering products from emporium home interiors

2.    By telephoning (tbc)where a member of the sales team will be more than happy to assist with your query.

When the order is placed by the buyer from the above methods of ordering. The buyer is offering to buy for the price stated subject to these terms and conditions.

When the order is placed by the buyer, we will send you an automated confirmation of the order with its designated order number, and at that point a contract will exist between you and us. If the product is not available we will also let you know by email or telephone. All goods must be paid for in full prior to delivery. All order details and invoices will be sent to the invoicing address and not the delivery address for security and safety of the personal information.

⦁    Emporium home interiors may cancel any sale and not supply products to the buyer if it is reasonable to do so and may change or discontinue the availability of products at any time at its sole discretion. If an order is cancelled by us, any payment made will be refunded in full. This will not affect your statutory rights. All new orders are deemed separate and each is treated individually.

⦁    Any typographical or clerical or other error or omission in any sales literature, quotation, price list, acceptance of offer, invoice or other document or information issued by the seller shall be subject to correction without any liability on the part of the seller.

⦁    If the seller doesn't have sufficient stock to deliver which is ordered by the buyer, the seller has the right to cancel the order and therefore the binding contract between the buyer and seller will be dissolved, then any sum paid by the buyer will be refunded or re-credited to your account.

⦁    The seller has a right to cancel the contract if we do not deliver in your area.


⦁    All prices are exclusive/exempt of VAT.

⦁    The price payable for the goods shall be as confirmed in the email or post acknowledgment. We reserve the right to rectify any error.

⦁    In the event of any increase in cost to us of raw materials, labour or overheads or any increase in duties or taxes, or any variation in exchange rates, we may increase the price payable under the contract having initially first given written notice to the buyer. If the notice of price increase has been given by the seller, you the buyer have the right to cancel the order and receive a refund for any sums paid by yourself.

Method of Payment

⦁    We accept all major debit and credit cards. Payments by card either be paid through online payment or by telephone. One of our sales team will be more than happy to go through step by step over the phone. To ensure your shopping online is safe and secure, your credit/debit card details will be encrypted to minimise the possibility of someone being able to read them as they are sent over the internet. Your credit card company may do some checks to confirm it is you that is making the order.

⦁    We also accept PayPal payment.

⦁    Cheques can also be accepted,  however it can take up to 6-7 days to clear from the bank. Please make cheques payable to century interiors limited. Along with the cheque if you can provide a letter with your order details, cheque guarantee card number with guaranteed amount, expiry date and contact details including phone number and delivery address.


⦁    Deliveries are FREE of charge to the mainland UK which includes parts of England, wales and of Scotland.

⦁    Deliveries to the Scottish highlands, remote areas within United Kingdom may incur a extra delivery charge and will take additional time. Delivery charges may vary depending on the location, size and weight of the product and type of product being delivered. Please call or email the sales team to obtain a quote before ordering. The following postcodes may incur a extra charge are as below.

⦁    Emporium Home Interiors sources products from a large variety of different suppliers. If the buyer wishes to purchase more than 1 item, the buyer has the option to choose delivery of the goods together or separately. We will however advise the buyer the best procedure on taking multiple deliveries.

⦁    Emporium Home Interiors will deliver the goods through a third party courier employed or contracted by emporium home interiors.

⦁    Depending on the product or item the buyer purchases, Emporium Home Interiors will use a 1-2 man delivery team.

⦁    The 3rd courier (depending on type of service) will contact the buyer to agree a suitable day, with an all day delivery service depending on the type of delivery. Please note - Due to extreme weather or excessive traffic conditions, selected delivery date and time maybe subject to change. We will however work with the delivery company to ensure the best outcome for the buyer. (Please view the delivery and returns for further information).

⦁    It is the responsibility of the buyer to ensure there is room for a 2 man delivery team to unload the items and deliver the goods.. Also depending on location and delivery address, access maybe required through ramps and lifts.

⦁    Any cancelled or missed delivery due from the customer will incur a minimum penalty of £60. Additional charges may apply depending on type of product, the type of delivery service used and the customer's delivery address.

⦁    An adult must be present for attending the delivery and signing for the goods. All goods require a signature from the courier or delivery company. we advise the customer to inspect the goods before signing for the goods.

⦁    Upon delivery if the goods are faulty, the customer must inform the driver and reject the goods. The customer then has to contact our customer services on 0141 237 4647 while the driver of the courier company is present. The driver then will remove the goods. The customer must not sign for the goods. 

⦁    Emporium Home Interiors cannot accept any claim for damages where the product is not unwrapped and inspected at time of delivery.

⦁    Once the customer has signed for the goods, they have now accepted and are solely responsible for the goods. Emporium Home Interiors will not be responsible for consequential loss, costs, damages, charges of expenses caused directly or indirectly in the delivery and acceptance of the goods.

⦁    please note - once the goods have been despatched and booked in, the order cannot be cancelled. If the customer refuses to sign for goods from the courier company for any reason, they will be liable for any failed delivery cost occurred from the address which could be in the region of £40 - £120.

⦁    When a delivery date has been agreed with our carrier but the customer isn't present to receive the delivery, we reserve the right to charge the customer a minimum of £25 to cover part of the cost of the failed delivery.

⦁    At this moment of time Emporium Home Interiors does not deliver overseas or abroad other than mainland UK.

Returns and Cancellations

⦁    In the unlikely event that you need to return the item or you change your mind after you have placed the order, emporium home interiors are more than happy to give their customer a 7 day money back guarantee. The customer has to notify the seller's customer service team at 0141 237 4647 or email at

⦁    Emporium Home Interiors won't accept any returned(s) goods should the return not follow the aforementioned return procedure. The customer is required to email sales@emporiumhomeinteriors to notify their intention to return any goods, if fail to do so, then we have every right not accept the return.

⦁    The buyer can either arrange to return the goods yourself or you can ask us to collect them from you. If the buyer wishes to arrange to returns the goods themselves, we recommend that the buyer uses a delivery service with proof of delivery and insurance against loss and damage. The buyer is responsible for the cost of returning goods back to us. However if the buyer prefers us to collect from their address, they will be charged for the delivery service which will be notified to the buyer prior to collecting the goods.

⦁    Cost may vary depending on collection address and delivery service as well as the type of goods and the amount of goods. If the customer wishes to arrange their own transportation for sending the goods back. Please view the deliveries and returns for further information.

⦁    The cost of the goods will be then deducted from the refund which will be issued to the customer within 30 days of their claim.

⦁    Customers have a duty of care for the product until it is collected from them and should make every effort that no damage is caused to the item. Emporium Home Interiors can only accept goods which are unopened and in its original packaging. Please note half packed, repacked in a non-saleable condition in its original packing or fully unpacked or assembled furniture cannot be returned at any cost. If the customer returns items which are half packed, fully unpacked or assembled furniture, they will be liable for the delivery charge for the items getting returned back to them. Furthermore if arrangements have been made for us to collect them, and items which are not adequately packaged at time of collection, may not be collected and a charge of £15 - £75 will be levied to cover cost of failed collection. we at Emporium Home Interiors ensure when delivery is made to the customer, the  upmost care and attention is taken into effect, so in return we would request the buyer to take the same effect into account.

⦁    Please note this return policy doesn't apply to items such as bespoke, special order items, made to order furniture or soft furnishings, items that have been specifically tailored to your requirements. There maybe an 80% stocking fee.
